The Siamese is a long lean cat with light color body and darker points. The short fur that shines like satin and baby blue eyes is what makes this breed unmistakable. Some people are unaware, however, that the Siamese comes in a number of colors and patterns including, but not limited to seal, chocolate, blue and lilac. The Siamese is a natural chatterbox and is not the breed to have if you are not home a lot as they become lonely and sad without human companionship. This breed is thought to have originated in Siam, now Thailand where it was believed that when a person passed away, their soul entered the cat, so after a death the cat was moved to a Temple and live the rest of its life in Luxury.
