The Cougar is also known as the Mountain Lion, or Puma, Catamount or Panther, depending on where it is. This large cat has the largest range of any of the large mammals which extends from the Yukon, in Canada to South America. While more visible on the western coast of the US, the Cougar used to range nation wide, but it was hunted heavily in the east and is rarely seen there now. This large shy cat is a carnivore and prefers elk and deer as a meal, but will settle for cows and horses when necessary. With an average weight of 135 pounds this crafty hunter uses the gloom of dawn or dusk to stock and catch prey and will hide larger game and feast on it for days.

Each Memo Holder base is made of stone resin and measures 2” X 2 ½” and looks like a patch of grass. There is a 4” high gold tone post with a circle holder for your notes.
