The Black Bear lives in North America and in spite of its name comes in several colors including blue-gray, blue-black, brown, cinnamon and on rare occasion even white. These bears are excellent tree climbers but can also be found in mountains and swamps. The average life span of the Black Bear in the wild is 20 years and they range in weight from 200 to 600 pounds. Cubs are born during hibernation and remain with their mother for 2 years. In general the Black Bear is a solitary animal but they do gather in large groups to fish. Being an omnivore they enjoy fish and berries both. They can roam areas as large as 15 to 80 square miles but do not guard their territory like other animals.

We take one of our Tiny Ones figurines and mount it inside a three dimensional Sleigh. This ornament is a little red sleigh with green interior, gray runners on top of a pile of snow. Each one has a gold tone cord for handing this unique collectible decoration on your Christmas tree, or displaying it anywhere. The base measures 3 ½” X 1 ¾” with felt covered bottom. The green interior has tiny gold buttons to match the gold trim on the outside of the sleigh. The empty sleigh stands about 2 ¼” tall, and the figurine would rise above that. The picture perfect decoration for the entire winter season! “Over the river and thru the woods…..” pops into mind.
