The American Foxhound originates back to the early 1700’s in VA and MD where it was bred for hunting fox in both a pack, and solo situations. As a member of the Hound Group, the AKC recognized the breed in 1886. The Foxhound can be any color with a coarse short coat and must stand between 12-25 inches at the withers. George Washington ran a breeding program for this breed and references to his hounds can be found in his journals. In spite of being an American breed, it is also one of the rarest.

These special Angel candle toppers are designed to fit most standard candle jars. Each of these unique candle toppers has a Tiny One Angel mounted on it that will allow you to remember your special pet in a beautiful, heart-warming way!
